Over and over we have been astonished by the quality and variety of Michoacana craft. We spent a little time in Morelia on Tuesday and wandered through the incredible display of workmanship at the Casa de Artesanias from the many artisans who work in this area.
In addition to the crafts always available for purchase, there were many items with ribbons from the recent annual competition of
artesania. Artisans plan for months to produce their finest efforts for this competition. Michoacán is known throughout México for the quality of their crafts, and the best of the best is displayed here.
